Welcome to the Active Fascial Unwinding. This highly effective Connective Tissue Release is a systematic approach to deep myofascial stretching. This modality can improve range of motion while relieving the source of pain (often times in one appointment). This technique is a great addition to an established coaching or bodywork practice or a new approach to treating clients within a recovery/athletic setting.
Active Fascial Unwinding teaches the use of a new tool; the Practitioner’s foot. By using the foot to strategically anchor adhesions the Practitioner can use their weight to facilitate tissue release. Chronic use of fingers/hands/elbows can lead to fatigue and even repetitive use injury. Active Fascial Unwinding brings the simplicity and efficacy of a pin and stretch modality with minimal physical demand to the Practitioner. This gives the Practitioner more longevity within their practice and often times faster results for the client. This technique can be done anywhere with the client fully clothed and doesn’t require a massage table. Check out the video above!
